Alator Corporation (ยซAlatorยป, which may be referred to as ยซweยป, ยซusยป, or ยซourยป) takes your privacy seriously. We have developed this Privacy Policy to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal and other information that we receive or obtain from visitors to www.alator.com and all associated sites linked to www.alator.com by Alator, its subsidiaries and affiliates, including Alator international sites (collectively, the ยซSiteยป), including, but not limited to, information received from registered Clients (ยซClientsยป) of Alator or its affiliates. This Privacy Policy is intended to explain, at a general level, how we handle information in connection with the Site, Client accounts, communications, and our Services.

This Privacy Policy may change from time to time, so please review it periodically for any changes. All new material changes to the Privacy Policy take effect immediately upon posting on the Site. The date of the last revision appears at the top of the Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Site or our Services after an updated Privacy Policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of that updated policy, unless applicable law requires a different form of notice or consent.

IF YOU USE THE SITE AND OUR SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO OUR TERMS OF SERVICE AND PRIVACY POLICY. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SITE AND OUR SERVICES.

How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

Log Files and Systems Monitoring. In the age of massive cyberattacks and cyber theft, we, like many other online businesses, take reasonable measures to protect our systems from such attacks and to protect our data from unauthorized access, and with that, the confidentiality of your personal information, regardless of the country in which such information is stored or to which it is transferred. We have all necessary safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you. For example, all our systems are constantly monitored for suspicious activity, and all visits to our systems are automatically ยซloggedยป, i.e. recorded in various ยซlog filesยป, and thoroughly analyzed by our IT security team. The log files contain the exact times of each connection to our systems, the computer Internet Protocol (ยซIPยป) address for each visitor, and their software and hardware information, including which ports, folders, files, and pages were requested on our systems. When a visitor to our systems tries to gain unauthorized access in an attempt to compromise our systems, their IP address becomes automatically blacklisted and banned, prohibiting future access to our systems from the computer of such visitor. We collect and review this information for security, system administration, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, access control, and the protection of our users, Clients, records, and infrastructure.

Cookies. In addition, we collect information by using ยซcookiesยป, which are stored on your computer and help us to enable certain features of the Site, such as monitoring web traffic routing on the Site, storing login information for registered users (i.e. Clients), and simplifying their future login experiences, etc. Cookies, together with JavaScript, are required for the full functionality of the Site, such as our Contact Form, private Client account, Client Registration Form, password generator, password strength indicator, etc. Therefore, we encourage you to enable cookies and JavaScript for the Site, so that you can benefit from the functionalities we offer, especially during registration procedures or when using our Site features. For example, the password generator and password strength indicator in our registration forms can be used to generate, analyze, and copy into password fields a strong random password (encrypted in our systems and unknown to us), which is automatically e-mailed to registrants for safekeeping upon successful completion of the registration process. You may be able to control certain cookie settings through your browser, but disabling cookies or JavaScript may prevent some Site features from functioning properly.

Information from Client Registration Form. We provide one type of registration on our Site, i.e. Client registration (ยซClient Accountยป, for retaining our Services and signing a PA or BSC/GSC, including a Retainer, NDA, etc.). In the Client registration form we ask for such information as your title, full name, birth date, e-mail, gender, ethnicity, location, short biography, current position, employer/company information, home and business addresses, home, mobile, and business phone and fax numbers, personal and business e-mail addresses, personal and business websites. In the Client registration form, some requested information is required (fields marked with red asterisk *) for successful completion of registration process. We use the personal and non-personal information collected from registration forms for the following purposes: identify registrants, fulfill requests for services, conduct research, contact registrants, and improve our services. We collect only the categories of information that we consider reasonably relevant to account administration, identity verification, service evaluation, communication, and the operation or improvement of our Services.

Measures Against Spam-Registrations and Unauthorized Use. As a measure against spam registrations, to prevent account and service transfers not permitted by our terms of service, we have disabled the editing of the following fields in the profiles of all registrants: login, title, display name, full name, birth date, gender, ethnicity, and location. All personal and non-personal information of our Clients is protected from public view and is visible only to us, because in their account on our Site each Client has their own private account and messaging system for direct communication with us. These restrictions are intended to preserve account integrity, reduce abuse, and help prevent misidentification, impersonation, and unauthorized transfer or use of accounts and Services.

Modifications and Deletions of Registered Accounts. If during registration you have made mistakes which are now located in the disabled fields in your profile, and you would like to make corrections (name, birth date, gender, and ethnicity replacements are not allowed; login and display name are not changeable under any circumstances), or you would like to delete your account, please do the following: post your request either in your private account or send us a private message, and depending on your request, your account will be either modified or deleted in its entirety within 48 hours. If any requests for account modifications and deletions are made via our Contact Form, they will be ignored. We reserve the right to retain records where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, contractual enforcement, dispute resolution, bookkeeping, or other legitimate business purposes permitted by law.

Online Payments. When in your Client account you pay online the non-refundable retainer fee or the bill for our services, our third-party payment processors or service providers may collect your personal information in order to complete the requested transaction, including your credit card information and billing address, and information you provide to them will be governed by that partyโ€™s privacy policy. In connection with such a payment and for verification purposes only, we receive your personal information (excluding your credit card information) from our third-party payment processors or service providers. We do not state here that we store your full payment card details; payment-related data handling may be performed in whole or in part by third-party processors operating under their own policies and compliance obligations.

Electronic Communications. If you contact us via our Contact Form, we and our systems may collect your personal and non-personal information, including information about your IP address, hardware, and software (see above). Depending on your status on our Site, we may contact you either via e-mail (see note below) or by private message and/or posting in your Client account on this Site, if you requested information or a communication from us. Note: In order to prevent spam and enhance security of our systems, all our mail servers automatically reject incoming electronic mail unless it is coming from a known source or our Clients, thus making our e-mail communications with Site visitors and other users unreplyable by e-mail on their side, while still allowing them to communicate with us, ask questions, and provide answers via our Contact Form, unless they have abused our systems to the extent that their access has been blocked by our IT security team. We may preserve communications and related records for customer service, quality control, security analysis, contractual administration, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Minors

If you are under 18, you may use our Site and Services only with involvement of a parent or guardian, and may not impersonate them or any other adult. If during verification procedures we learn that a registered account contains fake or non-verifiable information, or an impersonation of an adult by a minor is suspected, we and our associates reserve the right to terminate such account, remove or edit content, or refuse Services at our sole discretion. We do not knowingly intend to allow minors to use the Site or Services independently where such use is not permitted by our policies or applicable law.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Personal Information. Except as set forth in this Privacy Policy, we will not trade, sell, release, share, or transfer your personal information for use by any third party without your consent, or in a form other than what was agreed upon with you, unless permitted or required by law. Where disclosure is permitted or required, we aim to limit the disclosure to what we reasonably consider necessary for the relevant purpose.

Compliance with Laws. To the extent required by law or to respond to judicial process (including but not limited to subpoenas), we will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate in order to accomplish the following: a) protect our or third partyโ€™s rights and property; b) protect the safety of the public or any person; c) prevent or stop activities we may consider to be illegal, unethical, or legally actionable, or having a risk of being such. We may also preserve and produce records when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to investigate misuse of the Site or Services, enforce our agreements, or comply with legal obligations applicable to us.

Business Transfer. In the event of merger, sale, reorganization, liquidation, or insolvency, including any other change of control, we may transfer any or all personal information to a third party, provided that they agree to keep such personal information subject to this Privacy Policy, or we may post a notice on this Site that upon transfer all personal information becomes subject to a substantially different privacy policy. To the extent required by applicable law, we may also provide additional notice regarding such a transfer.

Maryland and Jurisdictional Context. Alator Corporation is located in Maryland, USA. To the extent relevant to the interpretation, administration, storage, review, or enforcement of Site-related records and policies, Maryland serves as the principal legal and operational base of the company unless a signed written agreement expressly provides otherwise. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any right, protection, privilege, or obligation available under applicable Maryland law or other applicable law.

Privacy Questions

If you have any questions or concerns about our Privacy Policy or data storage and processing, please contact our support staff via our Contact Form. If you communicate with us about privacy-related matters, we may retain that correspondence and any related records as part of our ordinary administrative and compliance processes.
